Configuring Conditions for Receiving Notifications

This topic describes the procedure to configure Cordys MDM so that users with the appropriate roles receive notifications whenever synchronization or bulk operation occurs.

1. On CUSP > My Applications, click

( MDM Admin Settings). The MDM Admin Settings window appears.

2. To configure notifications for the synchronization activities, go to Synchronization in the Notifications group box.

Then...

To notify exceptions

Perform either or both of the following tasks:

To receive notification in Process Platform Inbox, select the Through Inbox option.
To receive notification through email, select Through Mail to Recipients option and provide the email ID in the adjacent field. To provide multiple email IDs, separate them with commas (,).

3. To configure notifications for bulk activities such as upload and download, go to Bulk Operations in the Notifications group box.

If you want...	Then...
To receive notifications for successful events	Perform either or both the tasks mentioned in step 2.
To receive notifications for exceptions	Perform either or both the tasks mentioned in step 2.

4. Provide an email ID in the Sender Mail ID box. Any email notification is sent through this email address.

Note:
The Sender Mail ID box is enabled only if you select the Through Mail to Recipients option either under Synchronization, or under Bulk Operations, or both.

Note:
Notifications will be delivered to users having the Administrator role.

5. Click

to save.

Note:
To restore the settings to default, click Restore Default.

The conditions for receiving notifications are configured.
